About
Timothy Hunter
Timothy Hunter is a painter working in Atlanta. He holds a B.A. in Studio Art and a B.S. in Chemistry from the College of Charleston, and is a Ph.D. candidate in organic chemistry at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where his research includes the synthesis of bullvalene, a fluxional molecule.
His paintings are made with custom-mixed acrylics formulated for specific viscosity and transparency. The figures in them hold a form, release it, and arrive at another while remaining recognizably the same body.
